As the Senior Photographer for GoPro, I pioneered the look and feel of POV photography in media and helped refine a brand identity through consistent imagery in an entirely new genre of action sports and advertising. As the Head of Photography at Light Labs Inc in the emerging field of computational imaging, I helped prove the vitality of multi-camera arrays in consumer products, drove continuous refinement of image quality and demonstrated the feasibility of depth sensing cameras across numerous applications. At Restoration Hardware I provide end-to-end production support by refining camera image quality, computer hardware & software performance and defining new color calibration standards to meet narrower requirements than manufacturer’s acceptable tolerances.

I specialize in creating content from emergent camera and imaging systems, continuously pushing for image quality and software feature improvements, leading and growing content-producing cross-functional teams while working in partnership with engineering and marketing with the goal to bring products to the consumer through the cultivating of a visual identity based on an intimate understanding of the product and end user, while unceasingly learning new technologies and techniques.

Located in San Francisco, California; I have been a film photographer for almost two decades and freelance commercially in photographing select automotive and architecture subjects for branded editorial & lifestyle, auction listings and motorsport events.
